Patient Case Study
40-year-old triathlete reporting 4-year history of intermittent right calf pain while running. Previous treatment included stretches, acupuncture and massage which helped in the shorts term only. Very frustrated. Spine & Sports Assessment showed decrease right soleus (part of calf muscle group) load capacity which had never been looked into previously. Successfully treated with education, specific progressive rehab programme, training modification and some soft tissue release. 3 sessions in all. Very happy triathle.
